CLAYTON COUNTY, Georgia — The desperate search for 6-year-old Ramon “RJ” Jett has ended in tragedy after the nonverbal boy was found deceased in a pond near the Sutter Lake Apartments.

RJ was reported missing from the apartment complex, prompting a large-scale search involving law enforcement, dive teams, and K-9 units. His inability to communicate verbally heightened concerns during the operation.

Despite extensive efforts, the young boy’s body was recovered from the water. The circumstances surrounding his death are still under investigation.
