Tragic End to Search for 6-Year-Old Ramon “RJ” Jett Found Deceased in Clayton County Pond

CLAYTON COUNTY, Georgia — The desperate search for 6-year-old Ramon “RJ” Jett has ended in tragedy after the nonverbal boy was found deceased in a pond near the Sutter Lake Apartments.

RJ was reported missing from the apartment complex, prompting a large-scale search involving law enforcement, dive teams, and K-9 units. His inability to communicate verbally heightened concerns during the operation.

Despite extensive efforts, the young boy’s body was recovered from the water. The circumstances surrounding his death are still under investigation.

This heartbreaking loss has devastated RJ’s family and the local community. The young boy’s smiling face in photos stands in stark contrast to the sorrow now felt by those who knew and loved him.

Our deepest condolences go out to Ramon Jett’s family and loved ones as they mourn this unimaginable tragedy. May they find strength and support in the days ahead.
