SARASOTA, Florida — Wild video shows an 8-year-old boy operating a jet ski all by himself on the water earlier this month before police stepped in.

The boy was spotted riding solo on June 14. When a Sarasota Police Department officer approached him by boat, the first question was straightforward:

“Where’s your parents?”
