LITTLE BIG ECON STATE FOREST, Florida — A routine hike turned tragic when a massive alligator attacked 31-year-old Brittany Clark, reportedly ripping off both of her arms while she waded in shallow water with her boyfriend.

The horrifying incident occurred in the Little Big Econ State Forest. Despite efforts to save her, Clark succumbed to her injuries.

Her boyfriend witnessed the sudden ambush, which has left him and the family devastated.
